RULES & PROCEDURES

rental policy

Please read this rental policy carefully. By submitting a reservation, you are verifying that you have read and understand these rules.
 

  1. You are responsible for lost, stolen or damaged contents belonging to the cabin during your stay.
     

  2. You must be 21 years of age to rent the cabins.
     

  3. Two night minimum is required.
     

  4. Smoking is only permitted outside. Please keep butts picked up.
     

  5. Daily Rate is $125 to $565 per night, depending on your cabin, with a 2 night minimum.
     

  6. There is a discount if you stay 5 or more nights. Rates do not include state or lodging tax.                                                                                           

  7. Check-in time is 3:00 PM C.S.T. After submitting your reservation form we will send you instructions to unlock your cabin. 
     

  8. Check-out time is 11:00 AM C.S.T. Please follow instructions posted in the cabin regarding clean up.
     

  9. Your credit card will be billed within 14 days prior to arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.                                                                               

  10. Please cancel 14 days prior to arrival, to avoid being charged the full amount.                                                           

  11. Pets are allowed in the cabins. They must be housebroken and leashed at all times while outside. There is an additional charge of $45.00 per pet. Any damages will be charged to your credit card.
     

  12. There is no daily maid service. 

  13. We suggest you bring your own beach towel. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cabins.
     

  14. We provide an initial supply of items such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and bath soap.

The key code for you reserved cabin will be emailed prior to arrival.  We do not have an office so there is no need to check in.  Guests may be charged for an additional day if they check out later than 11:00 am.

THE STONE HOUSE

Rate: $495 per night Monday-Thursday

billing

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover

 

 We will charge the first night of each reservation at the time of booking.  This deposit will go towards the total amount for each reservation.  This deposit is non-refundable.

The remaining balance will be charged to your credit card within two weeks prior to reservation date.  If you cancel less than 2 weeks prior to reservation date, and your card has already been charged, no refunds will be issued.

cleaning instructions

Please do as much as possible to avoid being charged a cleaning fee of $150 for cabins 1-10 or $300

for cabin 11, The Stone House and Waters Edge Cabin.

  • Wash all dishes and put them back in cabinet or leave in strainer
     

  • Wipe counters, stove, etc.
     

  •  Gather used towels, washcloths, etc. and leave in bath tub.
     

  • Strip used beds of everything but mattress pads and leave in bedroom.
     

  • Empty all trash into outside trash cans (IN BAGS).                       

  • Remove ashes from charcoal grills and dispose in fire pit.                                    

  • When checking out, turn off lights, and lock the door on your way out.

rules

All of our cabins are fully stocked with dishes, kitchen utensils, towels, and linens.  Please keep the following things in mind so that we are able to keep them this way.

  • NO SMOKING inside the cabins.  If there is smoke odor or damage from smoking in the cabins, there will be a minimum of a $200 cleaning fee automatically charged to your credit card.

  • ​Please make sure all cooking utensils and dishes stay in the cabins. DO NOT use pots and pans on outside grill.

 

  • Please be sure to bring your own beach towels. We do not allow our towels to be taken out of the cabin for any reason. 

​​

  • Any stained or damaged towels, wash cloths, or linens will result in an extra charge to your card. 

​​

  • Please make sure all vehicles and trailers are parked on gravel drive only. Do NOT drive through or park on the grass. 

​​

  • After check out, we do an inventory check for each cabin. Any lost or broken items will be noted and the cost will be charged to your credit card. 

​

  • Please check out no later than 11:00 AM to avoid being charged for an additional day.

pet guidelines

A minimum of $200 will be charged to your card for any damages.

​

  • Make sure all pets are kept on a leash.

​​

  • Please crate all pets when left unattended.

​​

  • Do NOT leave pets in bedroom or bathroom if they are not in a crate.

​​

  • Please be sure to clean up after your pets at the end of your stay, including pet hair.

​​

  • Failure to do so will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $150 charged to your credit card.​

housekeeping

We do provide clean towels & washcloths upon request.​  Please call or text 618-927-0371 or 618-927-0374 to request and let us know specific items you would like us to bring.  Please leave dirty towels and wash cloths on the porch and we will pick them up.  

​

Our wonderful cleaning crew would also be happy to help with anything you need, so feel free to ask when they are at the cabins.

​

We also provide laundry service for extended stay guests.  Please call us and set up laundry service at least 24 hours prior to pick up.
